About

OpenUJI is the umbrella initiative for open, human-first user journeys. We bring together specification work and software that help people describe, understand and improve digital experiences.

The initiative and the specification

The Open User Journey Initiative provides a shared home for this work. User Journey Graph (UJG) is its specification family, describing journeys and connecting their structure, execution and measurement.

The specification is developed openly through a W3C Community Group. Its documents include working drafts; check each document's status when using or implementing it.

Founder and stewardship

OpenUJI was founded by Seva Dolgopolov, who maintains the initiative. For questions about the work or potential collaboration, contact Seva on LinkedIn.

Take part

The initiative is open to contributions. Explore the OpenUJI repositories to follow the work, report a problem or contribute an idea. Each repository is the starting point for its contribution guidance.

Our manifesto sets out the human-first and open-standards commitments behind the initiative.
